Draft a clear change announcement for a process change
Explain what's changing, why, what people need to do and by when, in under 200 words.
The task
Process change announcements get ignored when they're long or vague. Give the assistant the facts and ask for a short announcement structured around what the reader needs to do.
A prompt to start from
Paste it into your AI assistant, then fill in the bits in [square brackets].
Write an internal announcement about this change: [describe change]. Audience: [who]. It takes effect on [date].
Structure: what's changing (one sentence), why (one or two sentences), what you need to do and by when (bullets), where to get help. Under 200 words. Plain British English. No "we're excited to announce".
What to check in the output
- Check dates, system names and the help contact.
- Ask one person from the audience to read it and tell you what they need to do. If they can't, rewrite.
Before you paste anything in
Fine for most internal changes. Changes affecting contracts, pay or roles need HR and legal involvement first.
Your organisation's AI policy wins over anything here.

Turn an incident timeline into a blameless post-incident review
Structure a messy incident timeline into a review focused on causes and fixes, not blame.
