Pressure-test a strategy paper before the board sees it
Ask for the hardest questions a sceptical board member would ask, and where the argument is weakest.
The task
Strategy papers get reviewed by people who already agree with them. Ask the assistant to play a sceptical non-executive and find the weak assumptions, missing evidence and unanswered questions before the meeting does.
A prompt to start from
Paste it into your AI assistant, then fill in the bits in [square brackets].
Read this strategy paper as a sceptical, experienced non-executive director. List: 1. The ten hardest questions you'd ask, most important first 2. The assumptions the argument depends on, and which ones lack evidence in the paper 3. Risks that aren't mentioned 4. Anything that's unclear or could be read two ways
Don't rewrite the paper and don't soften the questions.

What to check in the output
- Not every question deserves a change to the paper. Some deserve an answer ready in the meeting.
- The assistant doesn't know your market. Discard questions that show it misunderstood.
Before you paste anything in
Board papers are often highly confidential and may be price-sensitive. Use only an approved tool.
