Build a clause comparison table across several contracts
Compare how one clause (e.g. liability caps) is worded across a set of agreements.
The task
Questions like "what liability cap did we agree with our top suppliers?" mean opening every contract. Upload the contracts and ask for a table comparing one clause across them, with quotes and references.
A prompt to start from
Paste it into your AI assistant, then fill in the bits in [square brackets].
For each attached contract, find the [clause type, e.g. limitation of liability] clause. Build a table with: contract name, counterparty, clause number, the exact wording, and a one-line plain-English summary. If a contract doesn't have the clause, say "Not found" and note where you looked.
What to check in the output
- Check each quote against the contract, and check schedules and amendments.
- "Not found" needs a human search before you rely on it.
Before you paste anything in
Contracts are confidential. Use an approved tool only, and check any confidentiality obligations to counterparties.
