Generate headline and subject line variations to test
Ten distinct angles for a headline or email subject line, so your A/B test compares ideas, not synonyms.
The task
A/B tests often compare two near-identical lines. Ask the assistant for variations built on different angles (benefit, curiosity, specificity, urgency, social proof), then pick two that are genuinely different.
A prompt to start from
Paste it into your AI assistant, then fill in the bits in [square brackets].
Write ten email subject lines for this email. Use a different angle for each: a direct benefit, a specific number from the content, a question, a how-to, curiosity, a problem statement, and so on. Label the angle for each. Under 50 characters. No clickbait, no false urgency, no ALL CAPS.
Email content: [paste]
What to check in the output
- Any number in a subject line must come from the email itself.
- Test two lines with clearly different angles, not the two you like most.
Before you paste anything in
Low risk. Don't paste subscriber lists or personal data.
Your organisation's AI policy wins over anything here.
