Turn an expense policy into a one-page FAQ
The ten questions people actually ask about expenses, answered from your policy with section references.
The task
Expense policies are long and people ask the same questions anyway. Upload the policy and get a one-page FAQ that answers the common questions, quoting the policy, for the intranet.
A prompt to start from
Paste it into your AI assistant, then fill in the bits in [square brackets].
Using only the attached expense policy, write a one-page FAQ with the ten questions employees are most likely to ask (meals, travel class, mileage, client entertainment, receipts, deadlines, approvals, and so on). Each answer: two sentences at most, plus the section number. If the policy doesn't answer a common question, list it at the end as a gap.
What to check in the output
- Check every answer against the section quoted, especially limits and amounts.
- The "gaps" list is useful: take it to whoever owns the policy.
Before you paste anything in
Internal policies are usually fine for an approved tool. Don't include individual expense claims.
Your organisation's AI policy wins over anything here.
